  1. I like that one. I come up short often, but not in striving for new things and taking chances… just a little more calculated than they used to be!

  2. I love this, Ceil. Thank you so much for sharing. I have been having some health issues, and I would really appreciate your prayers on my behalf. A heartfelt thanks. God bless you.

  3. Once upon a time a lovely, yet lonely, young princess was walking round the beautiful palace gardens when, near a pond, she saw a big frog singing:

“If you’re all alone … when handsome men are gone …
Honey I’m still free. Take a chance on me. Take a chance on me …”

The princess stopped and wondered “This song is familiar. I wonder who sang it?” (She was a bit slow, intelligence wise).

The frog continued singing louder in desperation.

“Take a chance on me. Take a chance on me …”

So the princess remembered the story about kissing a frog and it turns into a lovely prince, and be happy ever after. But she was disgusted at the prospect of kissing this slimy creature.

    The frog sang even louder.

“Take a chance on me. Take a chance on me …”

Finally convincing herself, the princess picks up the frog, closes her eyes, and kisses it on the lips.

There was a bright light everywhere and magically, to her great surprise, the frog turns into a toad … singing …

“Take a chance on me. Take a chance on me …”

  4. Great truth Ceil! God did not call us to live in fear. Fear leaves us on the wrong side of the river wandering around the desert for 40 years. Blessings to you!

  5. Breathing in the truth – short and sweet, fresh and real, beautiful. Thank you. Some posts are so long it’s hard to wrap my arms around what is being said. You showed the truth wonderfully. I got it….I really got it. Thanks. Blessings ~Chris

  6. Oooh, now I have Abba’s song in my head too. “Take a chance, take a chance…” 🙂

We need those reminders to risk failing and to take wild chances with our dreams, goals, and passions, huh?

Re your comment on my post “Kindle Instant Intimacy…” Thank you, Ceil. Those moments are so special and lead to greater closeness, huh? 🙂

May you and your family have a grace-filled weekend.
