He is Risen!

Easter has finally come, the hope of new life is fulfilled in the rising of the Lord from the grave! We are no longer people of ‘no hope’, we are people living in the secure future of being raised with him.

Turning our heads and hearts from Lent, may we all take the grace we’ve been given in our sacrifices and prayers, and be eager to activate the joy and holiness of this new life.

May your Easter be a festive celebration! Today is the anniversary of your personal promise of salvation from Our Lord.

God bless you and yours this Easter, and may you be flooded with the enveloping love of a Savior who was willing to suffer and die so you could be with him forever. Alleluia!

  1. Beautiful, Ceil! And you asked me in one of my posts if you could share a video, I would be honoured if you did. And yes, I did find it on YouTube. I responded to you in that post but wasn’t sure if you saw my response or not.

Happy Easter to you, dear friend. God bless you.

  2. Amen and Amen Ceil.
My friend and I had a wonderful time today at a little church gathering we have not been to for years. The presence of the Lord was very strong, and there was a preacher from America there with his family .
All glory was given to the risen Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!

  3. Happy Easter to you, sweet friend. So happy to know you and walk this Christian blogging journey with you. May the Lord bless you abundantly for the encouragement you are to me and to so many others. Sending love and hugs your way!

  4. This is beautiful, Ceil. I hope you and your family had a happy Easter. Yes, let’s step out and walk in the joy and fullness of the new life we have in Jesus!

  5. Hi Ceil!
Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! It’s so amazing to consider all that Jesus did for us. In Jesus we see what true love does and looks like. I’m so thankful that Jesus came, suffered, died, and rose again that we could have eternal life that matters! When we have Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we don’t have to fear death.

Blessings to you on this day after Easter!

  6. Alleluia indeed! The colourful eggs image to me represents the new, bright life we have when we take up our cross, surrender to Christ, and are washed by His blood to be fully redeemed!

  7. So thankful HE has risen, and He still lives today in our hearts! Lovely post Ceil, and thank you for visiting me too… may the sweet blessings of the Lord be with you this week!
